Moses Lake Auto Repair

I had a minor breakdown on my way to Tacoma. Scotty's Auto Repair had me in and out of there in 20 minutes. They were so nice and accommodating I don't hesitate to give them five stars

We were passing through Moses Lake on Wed, July 12 when we developed trouble with the Transfer Case of our 2007 Jeep Wrangler. We called the local jeep dealer; Bud Clary Moses Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and were told that they could not even look at our problem before the following Monday. We called Scotty's and they immediately said bring it down and they would look at it. They staff and crew were cordial, responsive and willing to try to get us back on our journey. They quickly diagnosed the problem, gave an estimate and ordered the parts that might be need to affect our repair. After they further attacked the problem, they were able to repair our broken Transfer Case Shifted. We were back on the road by 4pm and back on schedule by nightfall. This family owned and operated auto repair shop is a blessing to Moses Lake and to all who use it.

This repair shop was recommended to me by a friend, as she had good results so I thought I would try. To my surprise the lady's at the front counter were pleasant and professional, helpful with suggestions, and was willing to give estimates on the work to fix the problems. The estimate needed adjusting and they explained to me in a way that I could understand the reason for the increase. The parts and work was done in an extremely shorter amount of time than I expected. The oil used was incorrect and they were willing to correct the error immediately. I have plans to have them fix anything that comes up in the future. Thank you for a job well done.

I had my wife take her Van in for a small repair and they fixed it wright away. Their is something I'am concerned about--- The pictures of the office don't show anyone working at the desks?????

Scotty's Auto Repair is the place to go for all your repairs. They gave me a second quote on my air conditioning that was nowhere close to the first quote of another repair shop! They are honest! I will use them for all future repairs! Thanks Scotty's!!

Had a front catalytic converter with a hole in it and had blown everything from the front into the one on the back. I went by, told them exactly what was wrong with it and that I had the part, just needed it put on. Gave me a quote of $200ish and made my appointment. Took it back for my appointment 2 days later and waited, with the understanding that it would be about two hours at most. Twenty minutes later some guy comes in and starts feeding me a line about how there's a bolt stuck "somewhere in the exhaust" and "you don't wanna wait.....could take an hour to find it or it could take 8......just depends." "And you have a 2nd cat out that's gonna have to be replaced" (TOTALLY BS). So I tell him to give me the bottom line and he quotes me "somewhere between $700 and $1000." Got my keys and left cause this guy is full of crap. Took it to another local shop and the guy welded up the cat that had a hole in it and then put my new one on......in 3 hours for $207 and change. I've always heard good things about Scottys.....this is why I went to them. Makes me think that the people who don't have a good experience just don't take the time to say anything about it. Apparently he took me for some kind of idiot cause I've got boobs and it's all "over my head anyway" and thought he'd cushion his pay at my expense. Not this time......and not this woman!

I bought a used van in Yakima and was driving it back to Spokane when it broke down. I towed it to Scotty's and it turned out it needed a new engine. I wasn't prepared financially to replace the engine. I left it there for over two weeks. There bill for storing it and diagnosing the problem was $zero dollars. These people are super nice and I would recommend them to anyone.
